Event 1: AI & Machine Learning Bootcamp β Event Summary
The AI & Machine Learning Bootcamp held on 10th March 2024 at the Computer Science Auditorium, MCTβs RGIT was a great success! The event was attended by over 150 students eager to explore the world of AI and ML.
Key Highlights of the Event:
π Opening Session:
- The event started with an introduction by the host, welcoming the guest speaker, Mr. Rahul Mehta, an AI Researcher at Google.
- A brief discussion on the importance of AI in modern industries and how students can start their journey in the field.
π Hands-on Workshop:
- Participants learned about Neural Networks & Deep Learning through an interactive coding session.
- A live demonstration on how to train an AI model using Python and TensorFlow was conducted.
π Case Study Discussions:
- Real-world applications of AI in Healthcare, Finance, and Autonomous Systems were discussed.
- Students analyzed how AI-powered systems like Chatbots, Fraud Detection Algorithms, and Medical Diagnosis Tools work.
π Live Coding Session:
- The audience participated in building a basic AI model for image recognition using Python.
- Step-by-step guidance was provided on data preprocessing, training, and testing an AI model.
π Q&A and Networking Session:
- Students had the opportunity to ask questions directly to the speaker about career opportunities in AI.
- The session ended with networking time, where students connected with like-minded peers and faculty members.
π Conclusion:
The event was highly interactive, and many students expressed enthusiasm for continuing their AI learning journey. Several participants also received certificates of participation for their engagement in the hands-on workshop.
